I have waited a month do post this review.I found it difficult to rate the service as the management team probibly deserves betterFirstly, fitter arrived, got on with the job, sometime later I had a knock on the door, to be told that the screen is fitted but he will have to come back in two days, when I went to look at the work, the two side pillars were both broken and the windscreen bulging.In between every other f word the fitter told me that the windscreen was not a good fit and this is what happens.Two days later, the fitter arrives, gets on with the job and also fits two new pillars.Again some time later I get a knock on the door, again told that the job is all done, so I go out to check, straight away I see that the fitter has stuck tape from the windscreen on to my car roof, fitter assures me that all will be fine and to remove the tape in a few hours.A few hours later I go outside and very carefully remove the tape to see a patch of my roof lacquer has come off with the tape.I contact budget windscreens who sent the fitter back out to see what has happened, apparently these things happen.(again loads of effing and jeffing).I get a quote from a car repair service on how much the roof will cost to put right and sent it to the company, who agreed to pay.Today my car is in the repairers being put right.So a summary is, fitter=1 star. Management 4.Would i reccomend this company...No

Update Oct 2024:I had another unfortunate incident with another glass on my vehicle - this time the side door glass! Searched around and, again, Budget Windscreens offered the best price! Decided to go with them again. The glass matched 100% with the orginal like the one done last time. The technician (Lee again!) arrived on time and the job only took 25 mins! Fully recommend Budget Windscreens!Aug 2024:Lee, the technician, arrived on time and did an excellent job. He carefully removed the broken glass, cleaned up inside the vehicle, and even swept the pavement.The replacement glass was brand new, perfectly matching the original, including the tint. The entire job took just about 20 minutes.I’m very happy with the service and quality of work. Although I was initially concerned about paying upfront and choosing the cheapest quote, Budget Windscreens proved to be reliable and didn’t compromise on quality!

Well l must say my first time experience using budget windscreens was not as l expected, it was far far better. The quote price was really good (Don't always believe the old saying if it seems to good to be true) l had a phone call from a young man called Mark informing me he would be arriving in ABOUT 20 minutes he arrived as he had informed me. He arrived very smart and with a very friendly attitude and very keen to inform me of what he was going to do and what l needed to do after he had fitted the windscreen. To make a long story short ..... very good service carried out by a professional person, Thank you Mark for a brilliant job. 30 aug 23 car front glass replacement.Had a crack on my front glass so started to look at websites online for windscreen replacement.Talked to my insurance to see if they could give any advice as I wasn't covered.Found one and they also recommended one that was 30%off,I thought great.Got the quotes and the one my insurance uses(another company,don't want to state) was double the price,the man on the phone said we cant use 2 addresses and the next available day was next week from 9-5.Called Budget windscreens and they didn't pick up at first and had to call them again a bit later and accept the quote,the next available day was in 2 days which was good and they would call you to let you know they are on the way.They send you an email to pay by paypal and confirm the date.On the day he called to say he was 20 mins away and was here by 10:40.he was done in an hour and said wait 30 mins before driving and it was all done.And they give you a warranty!

So I heard about budet window srceen from a mate so fault I'll give them a call so I contacted them got a email from Steve wasn't the best at making me awhile of what I needed to do I.e pay the invoice for your booking to be confirmed. It's not ever day I get a new window fitted but nevertheless the gentleman that come to fit my glass was 12/10 would.100% pass his name to.my mates. He turned up and before I could offer him a drink he was done and just because of him I wouldn't think twice before calling buget again

The customer service personnel I spoke to was highly unhelpful,disrespectful and aggressive, I booked a windscreen replacement, I was giving an appointment for today 27th of Dec 2023, and was told the installer will call to let me know when he will be on ground ,I received no call,and I called the customer service to find out when to be expecting the installer and before I say anything the customer service was just talking over me and will not allow me to make my statement, I told him I called to ,he jumped in again and start talking over me ,you are meant to be around between 9am to 4pm,I want to say,I only want to know what time the installer will be around, he wouldn't allow me to make the statement, I just end the conversation because needless to have a conversation with such a terrible and difficult individual..

Very impressed with the service I received From Budget Windscreens. My windscreen was partially detatched from the car and for a very reasonable price it was rebonded whilst I waited. The work took place the day after I booked it in. The fitters were clearly experienced and explained what had been done to the windscreen and polished it up like new before I drove the car away + no more water leaks.

Requested a quote from Budget windscreens early on Friday morning. Steve contacted me with the quoted price of just over 200 pounds, where other companies had been well over 600 and 800.The booking was arranged for the following Monday and was paid up front via PayPal invoice. The fitter called at 9am to say he was in Bedford finishing a job and would be with me (just outside of Cambridge) by 11. He was on the drive ready to start by 10:30. Swift process and hassle free, great service and great price. Would recommend and use again in the event of needing another Windscreen.

Disappointed with the quality of the windscreen installation. I complained and they sent the same guy back who said it’s perfectly fine and he left. The gap between the windscreen and the Pan roof Glass is so big now and the 2 top corners stick up and don’t sit flush. To top it off they got the black silicon which sticks the window on inside the car. Price was cheap but wish I paid the extra for a better job. Don’t recommend

A crack appeared in my windscreen. I called a few companies and Budget Windscreens came in by far the cheapest. I didn't really know what I needed so they looked up my car details and confirmed what windscreen type I had. We booked in a fitter for 2 days time who turned up on time, was very polite and friendly and completed the replacement with no fuss within about an hour. 5 stars!!!

Great service, appointment had to be changed due to the weather, but I was kept updated.. Two days later the job was complete.I was told the previous windscreen was even fitted properly! Which wasn't budget windscreens!.Hopefully no more leaks on the footwell!!

Really would recommend this company. A charming and polite service that was quick, thorough and helpful. Honestly what more could you ask for? Oh yeah, price. Well, the clue's in their name because Budget Windscreens came in at just over £400 less than anyone else I got a quote from.

This company was recommended by my trusted garage where I have a friend. I phoned them yesterday in the morning and I have a new windscreen fitted at 3.45 the next day. It was £300 for the best windscreen they did for my car i.e. a heated one for a 12 year old Ford Mondeo. They did the work at my workplace in the car park and it took about 1.5 hours. The chap who did the work was just a nice clearly experienced chap and I didnt have to answer any questions or...anything. I just gave him the keys and within less than two hours the job was done. I had to pay before booking but this was straight forward as they sent me an email with a Paypal link that did it all for me apart from press the "yes I want to pay this much" button. The reason this went well is because I took the advice of the garage I use for everything else - Chapman Autos in Braintree who, again, are brilliant but took me about 15 years to find having lived here for 20 years. Everyone else apart from Chapman and Budget windscreens have been a nightmare to deal with and twice the price. My biz partner needed his clutch done and was quoted £800 to £900. He took it to Chapmans and it was £600. Maybe he did us a special price, I dont know, but even so Im pretty sure what you get with both these companies is the same as top quality brand garage services without the extra price of the brand. No complaints. Completely happy and Im not a rich man by any stretch of the imagination.
